Day Shift Duty Nurse RN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Day Shift Duty Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and ensuring the well-being of residents during the day shift. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a caring demeanor, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Duty Nurse RN Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents during the day shift.
• Assess residents' health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of residents at all times.
• Document all care provided and maintain accurate medical records.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Duty Nurse RN Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
