PTA Duties Include:

• Coordinating with a PT as a member of the Therapy team
• Utilizing gait training techniques may be effective in improving the mobility and quality of life of residents with limited mobility
• The progress reports must be written in a clear and comprehensive manner. Simplicity is key when expressing one's findings. Doing so will ensure that the information in the report is easily comprehensible to all parties involved in the resident's care and wellbeing
• Helping residents with specific workouts
• Residents will undergo a variety of therapies, including exercises aimed at improving balance and gait, to expedite their recovery
• Helping inhabitants become proficient in using crucial machinery and equipment
• Informing individuals about proper workout procedures that enable muscle strengthening and better physical functioning
• Safeguarding resident privacy and information to maintain confidence and support of the community
• Compliance with federal, state, and local laws is integral to demonstrating corporate social responsibility and ethical practices
• Acting as a team player and working towards common objectives

PTA Requirements Include:

• A person who has completed an accredited PTA Program and is ready for a career in physical therapy
• The current New Jersey State PTA license has not expired
• Experience in caring for individuals for extended periods of time is a key factor in the desired qualifications
