RN Nursing Specialist

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Nursing Specialist to join our team. The RN Nursing Specialist will play a crucial role in providing specialized nursing care, promoting clinical excellence, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

RN Nursing Specialist Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients with complex medical needs, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient conditions, monitor changes in health status, and initiate appropriate interventions as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including clinical audits, performance improvement projects, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate communication and promote interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Stay current on evidence-based practices, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to nursing practice.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance nursing practice and ensure compliance with standards of care.

RN Nursing Specialist Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with demonstrated expertise in a specialized area of practice (e.g., critical care, oncology, geriatrics).
• Certification in a specialty area of nursing practice is desirable.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively mentor and coach nursing staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement principles.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and continuous professional development.
