Job Description:

Showcases and administers a distinct and pleasant customer interaction. Records transactions on designated cash register, dispenses customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout assistance.

Roles and Duties:

• Greets and assists customers and patients to encourage engagement and provide support with products and services. Addresses customer concerns and inquiries effectively to enhance satisfaction levels.
• Acts as a role model in showcasing and distributing best practices in customer service to team members with the aim of offering a distinct and satisfying customer experience, which involves personal interactions like greetings, eye contact, politeness, and Walgreens' service attributes such as offering help preemptively, understanding customer needs, and ensuring satisfaction until completion.
• - Offers customers efficient and friendly service with promptness.
• Offering suggestions on potential purchases and recommending trade-in or companion items to customers.
• Manages customer purchases recorded on the assigned cash register, facilitates cash transactions, and administers change as per customers' requests. Processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as requested.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and effective presentation of counters and shelves, tracks inventory, and updates records diligently. Receives and prices goods according to the store manager's specifications or directives from the shift leader.
• Enforces protocols for safeguarding company assets to detect and reduce financial losses.
• Ensures adherence to state and local laws in relation to regulated items, including alcohol and tobacco products.
• Organizes and upkeeps various displays, like promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. Carries out resets and revisions in line with instructions given.
• Aids in the maintenance of inventory by practicing stock rotation techniques and restocking items in accordance with the first in, first out method to ensure efficiency in product placement.
• Is knowledgeable about store systems and equipment operation.
• Supports clients with various photo services such as digital passport photos, poster printing with a creative machine, and suggesting promotional photo products.
• Assumes the responsibility of managing online order pickups, overseeing orders in Picture Care Plus, fulfilling orders by selecting items, and delivering orders to customers upon their arrival at the store.
• Contributes to maintaining a clean and tidy store appearance through exterior and interior maintenance assistance.
• Follows all company policies and protocols; maintains positive connections with team members.
• Carries through designated assignments and other specified duties.

Training:

• Participates in training courses and accomplishes PPLs as requested by the Manager or assigned by the corporate authorities.

Qualifications:

• Competence in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, is a prerequisite
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, such as evenings and weekends, is necessary
• Candidates with a half-year of retail experience are preferred.
• Previous experience at Walgreens is desirable for potential hires.
• Wish to attain proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking, while excluding Puerto Rico
• The role requires being open to working outside standard hours, including weekends and evenings.
