The primary function of a PCA is:

Provide essential healthcare services and help patients perform their routine activities such as bathing, dressing, and other tasks.
Compassion, strong social skills and a genuine interest in aiding people are major qualifications for this job, given the personal nature of the role.
Taking on the role of the primary caregiver, they act as a bridge between patients and healthcare providers.
Document every issue and notify the healthcare professionals.

CNA Certificate required
