Job Description:

Shows and executes an exclusive and satisfying customer service experience. Completes transactions using assigned cash register, offers customers courteous, equitable, welcoming, and efficient cashier assistance.

Roles and Duties:

• Offers assistance and support to customers and patients, initiating conversations to provide information on products and services while resolving issues and answering questions for a satisfactory customer service encounter.
• Demonstrates and imparts customer service best practices to team members in order to provide an exceptional and enjoyable customer experience, covering interpersonal habits such as greetings, eye contact, courtesy, and Walgreens service characteristics like offering proactive assistance, identifying customer needs, and ensuring satisfaction.
• - Offers customers efficient and friendly service with promptness.
• Providing recommendations on items available for purchase along with suggestions for complementary or enhanced products.
• Operates the designated cash register to record customer transactions, handles cash transactions, and gives back change when necessary. Manages voided transactions, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as required.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and effective presentation of counters and shelves, tracks inventory, and updates records diligently. Receives and prices goods according to the store manager's specifications or directives from the shift leader.
• Enforces company asset protection protocols to identify and minimize profit erosion.
• Ensures that all rules and regulations pertaining to regulated products, including alcohol and tobacco, are upheld at both the state and local levels.
• Organizes and upkeeps various displays, like promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. Carries out resets and revisions in line with instructions given.
• Helps in managing inventory by implementing stock rotation techniques and restocking items based on the first in, first out approach.
• Demonstrates familiarity with store systems and equipment.
• Supports clients with various photo services such as digital passport photos, poster printing with a creative machine, and suggesting promotional photo products.
• Takes on the duty of managing web order pickups, tracking orders in Picture Care Plus, preparing orders by selecting items, and delivering orders to customers upon their store arrival.
• Contributes to the store's clean and orderly appearance through assistance with exterior and interior maintenance efforts.
• Follows all company policies and protocols; maintains positive connections with team members.
• Carries through special tasks and additional assignments as directed.

Training:

• Attends training programs and completes necessary PPLs as instructed by the Manager or specified by corporate guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Competence in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, is a prerequisite
• The job necessitates being able to work flexible hours, which may involve evenings and weekends
• Demonstrated experience in a retail environment for six months is preferred.
• Previous experience at Walgreens is desirable for potential hires.
• Choose to excel in English language proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking, except in Puerto Rico
• Flexibility in working schedule, such as availability for evening and weekend shifts, is necessary.
